Kathryn Claire with Special Guest Don Henson

Kathryn Claire and her guest Don Henson will kick things off with a house show in Portland on December 6th! Our partner organization for this show is Rose Haven, a day shelter for women and non-binary folk experiencing trauma and homelessness—causes that are near and dear to Kathryn’s heart. Tickets (suggested donation $15) will be available in November.

Join Kathryn Claire with special guest Don Henson for an intimate evening of music. Funds raised will be directed to Rose Haven, a day shelter supporting women and non-binary folks experiencing trauma and homelessness in Portland.

Kathryn Claire:
With her violin and voice at the center of her music, Kathryn Claire weaves together stories and melodies rooted in her classical and traditional musical background while infusing each song and composition with an energy and electricity that is palpable. Her musicality and joy on stage is infectious. Honest and poetic writing, crystalline vocals, impassioned violin compositions, and an ability to move seamlessly across genres, are the hallmark of Kathryn Claire's original and diverse sound. Kathryn Claire has spent years cultivating her own style and approach to music as a violinist, guitar player, singer, and songwriter.She has toured, performed and taught extensively in the US, Japan, The Netherlands, India, Belgium and France. 

Don Henson is featured on Kathryn’s latest release, “Bones Will Last, and has toured extensively with Kathryn Claire in the Pacific Northwest. Don works frequently with Will West and Skip Vonkuske in Portland, OR. His band, 'Sneakin Out' has played various stages with Pink Martini, on The Tonight Show (With Jay Leno) and had the honor of playing Carnegie Hall. Don is thrilled to be joining Kathryn Claire for this intimate evening of music. 

Rose Haven:
Rose Haven ( is a day shelter and community center serving women, children and gender non-conforming folks experiencing the trauma of abuse, loss of home and other disruptive life challenges. Rose Havens mission is to maintain a safe, respectful community while providing our guests with support and services to assist them in regaining stability in their lives.

At the Key Change:
At the Key Change ( mobilizes musicians and fans to advance racial and social justice through music and education. At the Key Change house concerts are like any other house show---almost. Every show will include an opportunity to learn more about fighting for racial and social justice in that community, through the presence of partner organizations at the events. Tickets are sold on a donate-what-you-can basis to support the beneficiary organization and to defray some of the direct costs of the event.
